The outdoor onsen offers a stunning experience, especially in the snow, providing a relaxing escape. The room is spacious, a comfortable spot to unwind after a long day of adventures.
The shower area lacks sufficient heat, leaving it uncomfortably cold, making cleaning up a challenge. Additionally, the hot water in the indoor onsen can scorch your skin within seconds. it’s almost unusable. There are also inconsistencies with the usage hours and gendered signage for the onsens, leading to confusion. Limited amenities, such as a shower in your own private space, can feel lacking if you're not prepared.

The Japanese-Style Room was super spacious and cozy, which made for a great night. The design was tasteful and bright, but it did miss a shower, which felt a bit odd. I loved the overall charming vibe of the room, but the lack of central heating made it a tad chilly. However, the warm welcome from the staff really added to the experience!

A captivating experience with a delightful outdoor hot spring that offered stunning views, especially during snowfall. The owner was incredibly hospitable and ensured our dietary requests were met, with a thoughtfully prepared vegetarian breakfast. The communal areas lacked warmth during the winter, and while the room was spacious, amenities like a shower were absent. The lack of cleanliness in the bathroom area was a downside, but the charm of the place made it memorable.

What an amazing stay! The outdoor onsen was so relaxing, especially after a long day of exploring, and I loved having a kaiseki breakfast served with fresh local ingredients. Just a heads up, the buckwheat pillows took some time to get used to, but overall, it was a fantastic experience. 😊

Magical onsen experience amidst snow
Our stay was absolutely enchanting, highlighted by a stunning outdoor onsen surrounded by a fresh layer of snow. The kaiseki dinner was truly exceptional with a delicious variety of local dishes, and the breakfast left us wanting more. The owner went above and beyond, providing heartfelt recommendations and ensuring we felt welcomed and at home. On a minor note, we did face a lack of a warm shower, but it didn't overshadow the overall experience. I wish we could have stayed longer to fully enjoy everything this charming place had to offer.
