I absolutely loved the traditional Japanese decor of the ryokan. The tatami mats and sliding doors made me feel like I was truly immersed in Japanese culture. The beautiful gardens and calming atmosphere created the perfect setting for relaxation. The hotel's accessibility for senior people was excellent, with ramps and handrails throughout the property, making it easy for me to navigate.
It would have been even better if there were more staff members who spoke English and could assist senior guests like myself. The children working there were friendly, but communication was a bit challenging at times.
Tourists from United States often stay at these properties. Ideas for your future trips.
